Megan and Stuart’s Yosemite Elopement is the sweetest thing! The two lovebirds traveled ALL the way from Wales to get married in Yosemite National Park with their close family & friends. Originally their elopement was going to be in 2020, but like many other things, they had to reschedule, but they chose the perfect day! The weather was so favorable, being slightly overcast, it made the valley evenly lit throughout.
Megan looked so stunning, she wore the most adorable tea length wedding dress with sleeves that had delicate lace along the wrists. Her dress gave me all the “Cinderella Story” vibes especially since she rocked her pink glitter converse! Megan’s cousin did her hair and he did a fantastic job! She fell in love with these delicate butterfly pins and he was able to incorporate them into her wedding “look”. I loved how involved their families were, it was truly a family affair! Her parents even wore their family heirloom pins, so freaking sweet.
One of my favorite things was how casual and fun this elopement was! Megan and Stuart just wanted to enjoy themselves and truly went with whatever was thrown at them. They brought a simple, yet tasty store cake to cut after the ceremony. Instead of making a big deal about where or how, they shared their first bites along the road at their car, while passerby’s honked, cheered, and congratulated them. Truly such a simple but memorable time! Plus, you can’t beat the views of Yosemite National Park as your background.
After the cake cutting & a quick touch up by her sister, we headed into the park to explore all the beauty. Making sure to safely keeping on trails, of course! I LOVE the bride and groom portraits we captured throughout the trails!! Such a beautiful couple and elopement.
