Santa Barbara Wedding | Kathleen + Jack

Kathleen and Jack’s Santa Barbara wedding was one for the books! These two babes were connected to me through one of my 2021 couples, Lauren & Dustin. Kathleen’s mom officiated the wedding while Kathleen and her sister attended as guests. Shortly after the wedding, Kathleen reached out and the rest is history! I love when it happens like that!

I loved how Kathleen and Jack wanted a very lax setting for their wedding and a place for their family and friends to enjoy themselves. The vibe of the day was classy, elegant and timeless. Their Ceremony was tucked away at the famous Sunken Gardens at the Santa Barbara Courthouse. I am serious when I tell you the ceremony alone had my mascara running faster than I ever did in track (LOL). Something about the bride walking down with her father and seeing them BOTH tear up has my eyes all emotional! Emotional. Jacks sister had the honor of officiating the wedding, taking all the guests through several laughs, “oooh’s”, and “aweee’s”.

IT’S ALL IN THE DETAILS

The reception was located at Cabrillo Pavilion, a stunning oceanfront venue. The details of this night were executed perfectly! The night started out with a raw bar cocktail hour full of fresh shellfish complete with a champagne “wall” for guests that detailed which table they were to be seated at. Each table’s number correlated with how old each of them were, including a photo of each of them at that age, such a cool idea!! When everyone was dancing, waiters passed out individual “cookies & milk” to guests. BEST CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE EVERRR with small and compact mason jar with cold milk, and a ginormous and warm cookie on top. *chefs kiss*

My FAVORITE part of the day were toasts where each selected person gave a touching tear-jerker of a speech. There was hardly a dry eye in the room as everyone had so much love to give the couple. I could go on and on, it was the most beautiful day!! Congrats Kathleen and Jack!
