Felicia & Jarred’s Salt and Sand Engagement Session

I love allll my amazing couples. And, once in a while, a couple comes along that I feel like I’ve known forever, and we just CLICK. Felicia and Jarred are one of those couples who just felt familiar from the first time we talked. Maybe its their mutual love of cats (meow), or maybe its their goofy, silly, carefree kind of love that reminds me of my husband and me- no matter the reason, we get each other and we had FUN at their beach engagement session.

These two are as playful as they are beautiful! After plenty of frolicking and sweet moments on the sand, I asked them if there were any other shots they’d like me to get before we called it a day. Felicia, without missing a beat, said she wanted a shot of them in the water. Jarred was… not as enthusiastic. LOL! With a little coaxing from his lady, he compromised and agreed to go calf-deep. The way I saw it, if you’re already calf-deep, might as well just go all in! So with the most persistent voice I could muster, I yelled, “GET DOWN NOW, NOW, NOW!” and he reluctantly obliged! There were lots of laughs as they emerged soaked from a pretty decent wave.

The best part was that Jarred forgot his change of clothes in the car, so as they began to get changed on the sand, he fashioned a toga out of their beach towel and strutted his way up the beach. It was the perfect hilarious finish to a truly unforgettable session.
