A Rustic Bohemian Wedding for Melissa & Jeremy
| After my first introductory with Melissa and Jeremy, I knew I was destined to be their photographer! We spent the entire call laughing like old friends and I found myself reminding myself, “this is just an interview. Don’t get your hopes up!” I was so in awe of the creative wedding plans they had; so unique and specific to their love story. I was obsessed and knew I HAD to be there to photograph every sweet detail! It was a match made in Heaven. Their venue wasn’t typical by any means. In fact, they chose a summer camp in the woods. They were not only planning their wedding, but also a weekend getaway for their closest friends and family to make precious memories acting like kids again! I am such a softy when it comes to those touching moments at a wedding- the thoughtful vows, the heartfelt toasts, the tearful parent dances; the whole “shebang”. I have to say, this day is one I will never forget. There truly was not a dry eye in the room (or woods LOL) as Melissa walked down the aisle, myself included. Jeremy’s Best Man gave him a supportive pat on the back as he tearfully watched his angelic bride walk towards him. Every personal touch, from the reading Jeremy’s sister gave and the song two members of the wedding party performed mid-ceremony, was so special and impactful. The rest of the chilly mountain evening, the newlyweds made precious memories with their beloved guests having a cozy dinner, dancing, and toasting s’mores under the starry night sky. It was truly a wedding experience I wish for all couples have, and one I’ll be forever grateful I took part in! |
